Superior Septic Pros in Delaware

Septic tanks and waste systems are one of the least appreciated modern day technological advancements used daily but rarely considered. If you think about the fact that without this innovation, our environment in Delaware wouldn't be half as beautiful or clean. Before septic systems were invented human and animal waste just drained into our water resevoirs and supplies.

Outhouses were the only option at the time, that were located over top of a dug hole where the waste collects. Once the hole under the outhouse is full, the little shack is just moved over top of a new hole. Septic systems offer huge advantages over this technique.

The First Septic Tank The invention of the septic system is credited to John (Jean) Mouras. Mouras crafted together a basic system in 1860, in the backyard of his home in France. With clay pipes, Mouras was able to move the waste from the indoor toilet to the tank in the yard. Ten years had passed before the concrete tank was opened and discovered that only liquid remained. Almost no solid material remained. After considering his findings he patented his system in 1881. By 1883, septic systems had made their way to the US and after WWll the innovation took off.

Because of this serious and real possibility, which has lead to an abundance of by-laws and regulations regarding the proper installation and maintenance of septic systems by local municipalities.
